Google's top woman: I knew nothing about computers when I started college

Marissa recalled that when she was a freshman at Stanford University, she didn't know anything about computers. In the fall of her first year at university, Marissa spent all of her savings to buy her first computer. A local computer consultant helped her set it up, taught her how to turn it on, and even had to teach her how to use a mouse ( =.= ). For Marissa back then, computers were entirely new things.
