Google announces the list of finalists for the 2006 programming competition.

This year's Google Code Jam attracted participants from over 100 countries, with more than 20,000 competitors. The finalists come from 23 different countries around the world. On October 27th, they will fly to Google's office in New York for the final competition, where they will compete for a prize pool of $155,000.
