Google plans to add AdSense ads to its maps service.

Google is planning to integrate AdSense ads into its mapping services. This type of advertising will be embedded in the pop-up windows that appear after clicking on landmarks. Google has not yet determined a specific release date.

Google also stated that these ads will be integrated into the recently launched Mapplets, allowing for shared advertising revenue. Users will earn money based on ad clicks just like with current AdSense offerings, and they will also be able to limit the number of sponsored ads appearing in Mapplets or turn them off completely.
