On the evening of June 18, CCAV's *News Broadcast* reported that the "Reporting Center for Illegal and Harmful Information Online" had condemned Google Search for containing a large amount of vulgar and pornographic content. Following this, *Focus Interview* provided a detailed account of the various wrongdoings of Google.cn and interviewed various "representatives," attempting to sway people into believing that it was Google maliciously spreading inappropriate content. Meanwhile, online media and the so-called "50-cent party" swung into action, publishing numerous articles and comments condemning Google China.
