In the early 1990s, Japan introduced Tamagotchi (also known as electronic pets) which soon became a worldwide craze. However, with the rise of other electronic gaming products, Tamagotchi gradually declined in popularity. But now, Tamagotchi is back. The new version of Tamagotchi comes equipped with a 1.25-inch liquid crystal color screen, allowing players to clearly follow every move of their digital pet. Currently, this new generation of Tamagotchis is only available for sale in Japan, leaving us to wonder if it will once again spark a global electronic pet trend...
