hands-on with StarCraft II at BlizzCon 2007

Blizzard announced on its official website that they will be demonstrating "StarCraft II" at the BlizzCon 2007 event in August, and players will have the opportunity to participate and experience the new game firsthand. Those lucky enough to have purchased tickets to BlizzCon will become the first players in the world to sample the StarCraft II experience. Blizzard stated that not only will they set up a demonstration platform for "StarCraft II" at BlizzCon 2007, but they will also provide further details about the game's development and new features. Players will be allowed to try out the game themselves, primarily focusing on the multiplayer mode, where new units and gameplay mechanics will be showcased.

Additionally, Blizzard plans to reveal more details about "StarCraft II" in the near future, including information on the single-player mode, multiplayer mode, map editor, system requirements, product pricing, and release date. However, according to "tradition," the last point is still uncertain.

BlizzCon 2007 is scheduled to take place on August 3-4 at the Convention Center in Anaheim, California, USA.
