Microsoft Plans to Launch Visual Studio 2008 Development Package by the End of the Year

Somasegar, vice president of the Microsoft Developer Division, said in his blog that although the Visual Studio 2008 software development platform is part of a product launch event in February 2008, Microsoft plans to start selling this product at the end of 2007. According to InfoWorld's website report, earlier this week, Microsoft announced that it would release Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2008, and SQL Server 2008 at a product launch event on February 27, 2008. Microsoft had previously indicated plans to release Visual Studio 2008 later this year.
