LiveStation is a real-time desktop video playback software based on p2p technology. It was launched by Microsoft Research in collaboration with Skinkers, a London-based company. Functionally, similar to pplive, ppstream, etc., it provides live broadcast of TV channels, but because it is in the testing stage, it only provides BBC's News24 channel.

In addition, LiveStation uses Microsoft's latest RIA technology, silverlight, for a smooth and gorgeous user interface. Currently in private beta test state, we need to apply for an invitation account, but some websites have received the invitation and made a review(1,2)
