The ultimate goal of standard pallet specifications established by plastic pallet manufacturers is to achieve consistent pallet-based operations in logistics, reduce unnecessary storage, loading/unloading, and handling processes, improve the overall efficiency of logistics operations, thereby lowering total logistics costs. On a global scale, even in countries with relatively high levels of pallet standardization, the proportion of standard pallets isn't as optimistic as people might imagine. Currently, the country with the highest proportion of standard specification pallets is Australia, where standard pallets account for 95% of the total pallet quantity; followed by Europe and the United States, accounting for 70% and 55%, respectively. Among Asian countries, Japan has the highest proportion at 35%, followed by South Korea at 26.7%. In our country, there are numerous types of pallet specifications, and the proportion of standard specification pallets is very low, making it difficult to compare with the aforementioned countries. Achieving pallet standardization in our country will still require a long process.
