Common techniques and some parameter values for image processing in Photoshop (PS)

A Simple Digital Photo Post-Retouching Method:

1. Open the image and apply Hue/Saturation (-40) to reduce the saturation.

2. Create a new layer, change the layer mode to Soft Light, and use the Brush Tool to paint over the areas that need retouching. Here, you can conveniently extract colors using the color palette.

3. If the color transitions in the image are not soft enough, apply the Gaussian Blur filter (+85) to achieve a smoother effect.
