June 16 (Beijing Time) -- According to the British media, scientists on an expedition in the volatile border region between Ecuador and Peru have discovered 12 new species. Scientists including Jessica Dickman spent months on the investigation in the Upper Nangaritza River Basin, which is geographically isolated from other parts of this region, making it more likely for new species to be found.
