【Synopsis】:

In the tightly interwoven first six seasons, it has earned a total of 57 Emmy nominations and won the Best Drama Series Award in 2006, while also crowning Kiefer Sutherland as the Best Actor that same year. The story of "Day 7" takes place in Washington D.C., set four years after the dissolution of the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) and Bauer’s trial. His life is once again unexpectedly disrupted by the return of his former colleague TONY ALMEIDA (Carlos Bernard). Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR (Cherry Jones) teams up with White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR (Colm Feore) to fight for their country.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by FBI agents, including JANIS GOLD (Janeane Garofalo), RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching), LARRY MOSS (Jeffrey Nordling), and SEAN HILLINGER (Rhys Coiro). Although CTU no longer exists, another catastrophic event brings CHLOE O’BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) back into the fray.
