Introduction:
In 1933 America, the Great Depression and a blind spirit of adventure inspired everyone to explore unknown territories and open up new survival spaces. A beautiful actress, Ann (Naomi Watts), increasingly felt herself surrounded by the depressing atmosphere of New York. Just as her career was at a low point, an ambitious filmmaker, Carl (Jack Black), brought her good fortune—she would be the lead actress in his latest production, which was to be filmed on Skull Island. Ann hoped that this island, close to Sumatra, would offer her a journey filled with excitement and thrills.
Through a mix of accident and coincidence, the ship eventually ran aground at Carl's ideal destination—Skull Island. Before Carl could begin filming his epic masterpiece, a group of sudden attacks by native savages cost several members their lives. Barely escaping from the savage’s clutches and setting sail to escape, Ann was captured. This eerie Skull Island proved indeed perilous, not only because of the barbaric natives but also due to dinosaurs and wild beasts roaming everywhere. To rescue Ann, they had no choice but to return.
Ann, offered as a sacrifice by the native savages, screamed helplessly. Her screams inadvertently caught the "attention" of King Kong. This colossal legendary ape, feared even by ferocious dinosaurs, took a liking to Ann. However, it didn’t know that this marked the beginning of its tragic fate…
