Apple has a number of product announcement events planned over the next two months, staged at different times, to introduce next-generation iPods, as well as new MacBook and iMac series products. The first event is expected to be held in the second week of September (tentatively scheduled for September 9) and will be hosted personally by Jobs. This event will feature the introduction of a redesigned iPod touch with a lower price point, as well as a new iPod nano.
