True health refers to the wholeness and well-being of the body, mind, and spirit. This "wholeness and well-being" means that the body is free from injury and disease, the mind is clear, and the spirit is full of energy. This definition is comprehensive and differs from the definitions used by many institutions, such as government medical or health departments and insurance companies. We all know that a person's psychological state can greatly affect their physical condition, yet we (or medical institutions) rarely focus much attention on the aspect of mental health.
