Students taking the computer-based test can retake for free next year.
Sun Yat-sen University and Guangzhou University are included in the first batch of 50 pilot universities nationwide to conduct the "computer-based test", with 100 students from each university taking the inaugural "computer-based test".
Mr. Liu Shuyu, one of the responsible persons for the Sun Yat-sen University's CET-4 and CET-6 examination work, stated that in order to reduce concerns among some "computer-based test" students, the school has stipulated that students who participate in the computer-based test will be able to take the paper-based CET-4 and CET-6 exams for free next year. The university will consider the higher score of the two tests as the student's final result. Guangzhou University has also introduced a similar policy.
