Middle-aged entrepreneurship: Four resources to leverage and four weaknesses to avoid
There are many successful examples of middle-aged entrepreneurship in China. For instance, Liu Chuanzhi, one of the founding figures of Lenovo, started his entrepreneurial journey mid-career at middle age. Despite encountering setbacks along the way, he eventually achieved success. According to a survey conducted by the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee up until May 2002, most of the entrepreneurs in the Zhongguancun Science Park were middle-aged, with an average age of 38. Among them, those aged 40 and above made up the largest proportion, reaching 58.01%.
