On July 7, 1937, Japan launched a full-scale war against China. As the Chinese army retreated, an intelligence team was trapped in the area controlled by the Japanese army. One of the code officers in the team was in charge of the highest-level password of the National Army, which would be catastrophic if it were to fall into the hands of the Japanese army.
