"Living Well" Plot Introduction:
The beautiful and virtuous single mother Yu Jianping receives a court summons, yet again for the child support of her six-year-old daughter Juanzi, bringing her long-divorced husband Jiang Jun to court. Upon hearing that Jiang Jun hasn't paid child support, Jianping's younger brother Jian Wei, who is passionate and impulsive, rushes over to teach Jiang Jun a lesson but ends up being taught a lesson himself instead. Jiang Jun is a typical rogue, impoverished and sleazy, not only refusing to pay child support but also extorting money from Jian Wei after using his own nosebleed as leverage from their scuffle. Enraged and helpless, Jian Wei has no recourse until Jianping's childhood sweetheart and neighbor, Da Zi, quietly steps in to resolve the extortion issue with Jiang Jun and secures the living expenses for Juanzi.
