From 1931 to 1949, it was an extremely important period in modern Chinese history: for over a hundred years, the Chinese nation defeated foreign invaders for the first time, achieving national independence and realizing national liberation; the Chinese people thoroughly buried the dark and corrupt semi-feudal, semi-colonial social system, establishing a new China, achieving the liberation of the entire society.

The TV series "Crossing Northeast" (Part II) tells the story of the resilient survival and heroic struggle of those who crossed to the Northeast during this historical period.

In "Crossing Northeast 2," Pu Cunxin and Miao Pu take on leading roles.

Episode 1:

On September 18, 1931, Song Chengzu's four children - Tianhao, Tianxing, Tianyue, and son Huzi - after settling their recently deceased mother, came from Shandong to Shenyang to seek refuge with their father. Tianhao reunited with her fiancé Qiu Chunhai, and the long-separated family finally reunited. Unexpectedly, the Japanese army opened fire that day, and the "September 18th Incident" erupted. Huzi got separated from his sisters amidst the gunfire. Song Chengzu firmly resisted the Japanese invasion. The three sisters failed to find Huzi and moved to the Luo Shi Circle poor courtyard. Huzi was adopted by the Qing dynasty remnant Zuo Yunpu. Shenyang fell, and Puyi was persuaded to come to Northeast China to become the emperor of Manchukuo. Zuo Yunpu deceived Huzi by saying that his father and sisters were all dead. Heartbroken, Huzi followed Zuo Yunpu into the palace and became a little attendant. Song Chengzu was injured, and the volunteer army he led suffered heavy losses. In March 1932, Puyi officially took office, and Bao Wangye appeared with his daughter Nari Tuo Ya to congratulate him. Huzi met Tuo Ya.
