Plot Introduction of "Silver Tower Golden Powder":

The first largest silver shop in Foshan, Guangdong, "Shang Silver Shop," is facing a business crisis. The head of the family, Shang Keng (Qin Pai), in order to obtain a loan from the Shen family, forces Second Master Shang Jun (Ng Wai Kwok) to marry Miss Shen Yongtong (Yang Wanyi) through scheming with his wife Sai Xiaodie (Xue Jiayan). This causes Jun's beloved Cheng Xiuxing (Wu Yongwei) to angrily marry into the Shang family as the third concubine. Jun then becomes enemies with Keng and travels overseas, severing ties with his brother.

It isn't until the day of the old patriarch's birthday that Jun agrees to return home, but their youngest son suddenly gets kidnapped. Keng refuses to admit to wrongfully accusing a shop assistant at Shang Silver Shop, which leads to more conflicts between the brothers, prompting Jun to decide on dividing the family.

On another front, since Jun's return, Xiuxing (who has been neglected by Keng) feels tormented by her second uncle. She is also falsely accused of causing the miscarriage of the fourth concubine Feifei (Hu Dingxin). After much reflection, Xiuxing decides to retaliate against the Shang family, using Jun's lingering feelings for her. She secretly stirs up trouble within the Shang household and exposes the fact that the nearby maid Qiujun (Yang Siqi) is actually the illegitimate child of Keng and a married woman. A series of blows tarnishes the reputation of this once prestigious family, leading to its ultimate downfall...
