PETA, the environmental organization that previously sued the developer of "Battlefield 3" for harming mice, has once again targeted Mario, the world's most popular video game character, claiming that he harms raccoon dogs.
To illustrate the theme of "Mario killing raccoon dogs," PETA created graphic and ruthless images of Mario slaughtering them. Tracy Reiman, PETA's vice president, stated that although the raccoon dog is just a skin in the game, it represents important fur protection for raccoon dogs. This indirectly implies that it's acceptable for Mario to wear animal fur. It's worth noting that Tracy Reiman mentioned that the main exporting country of these raccoon dog skins, as well as many other animal skins, is China. Therefore, PETA specially created a small game featuring the raccoon dog skin.
