Based on real events, it tells the story of 71 South Korean apprentice soldiers who fought against hundreds of regular enemy troops during the Korean War. Top and Kwon Sang-woo play the roles of South Korean apprentice soldiers, while Cha Seung-won plays the role of a North Korean army colonel.
Set against the backdrop of Pohang in August 1950, it narrates the 12-hour battle between the North Korean army and 71 teenage apprentice soldiers.
