"City Hot Love" tells the story of a scorching summer day where temperatures keep setting new records, causing everyone's emotions to rise with the heat. This leads to impossible romances blossoming in various corners of the city. In the film's love stories, Jacky Cheung and Rene Liu, Nicholas Tse and Big S, Eason Chan and Vivian Hsu, Arthur井and Angelababy, among others, each play couples who come together by chance. Each character is portrayed as an ordinary person with more unconventional looks than before.

In the future summer, the city has never been so hot, with temperatures continually breaking records - 40°C, 41°C, 42°C... The whole city declares entry into a red-level spicy state, urging all citizens of Hong Kong to prepare.
