Monster Wins Four Awards at First Asian Film Awards

At the first Asian Film Awards, the South Korean film "Monster" became the biggest winner, taking home four major awards for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects. Song Kang-ho beat RAIN and Andy Lau to ultimately take his place as the new king of movies, which is why he was in such high spirits. Best Actor Song Kang-ho said, "Asian films, especially South Korean films, are all trying to make more efforts to determine a new direction of development.
