◎Introduction
This movie is adapted from a best-selling book. Jennifer Connelly plays a married woman who is very tired of her marriage, Bradley Cooper plays her husband, and also entangled with another woman. The interwoven stories of several people make people sigh at the hypocrisy of human behavior: do you really understand your man? Maybe he is full of sweet talk, but in fact he doesn't like you that much! Maybe he dates you and also calls you to chat, but in fact he doesn't like you that much! Maybe he sleeps with you every time you meet, but in fact he doesn't like you that much...
One-word Review
This seems to be a movie that teaches sisters how to save themselves emotionally.

The film mainly tells the story of modern social relationships, especially the emotional misunderstandings between men and women caused by lack of understanding.

Behind-the-scenes Production
Sex and the City screenwriter's emotional advice
On December 3, 2004, New Line Cinema acquired the adaptation rights for the novel "In fact, you don't understand his heart" and immediately began working on bringing it to the big screen, while also inviting the two novelists to participate in the publicity work of the film. The inspiration for the best-selling book "In fact, you don't understand his heart" came from a conversation between author Greg Berlanti and Liz Tuccillo when they were both working as screenwriters for the online movie "Sex and the City" on the Home Box Office (HBO). They believed that too many women are investing too much in romantic relationships and getting too little in return, and they believed that women should be smarter. Therefore, they decided to collaborate on writing a novel to tell their female friends who are troubled in their love lives how to feel and discover whether a man is sincere towards them, and how to face and solve the problem when they find that the man is just putting up a front, thereby truly winning the heart of the man.
New Line Pictures said that this movie "is like the hostess of a talk show making the male guests truly join in and thoroughly enjoy the whole program time." This is the kind of love that smart women should get. Toby Emmerich, president of New Line Cinema, said: "When I heard the title of this book, I knew it would be a great movie idea. After reading it carefully, my desire to buy it and adapt it into a movie became even stronger. Because these two amazing authors used a highly expressive form to tell readers captivating stories, all of which are very helpful for shooting a box-office romantic comedy."
Actresses' On-screen and Off-screen Lives
"In fact, you don't understand my heart" has an ultra-strong cast, despite playing characters who hope for love but cannot obtain it. When asked about their real-life feelings, Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore both frankly admitted: they still believe in love.
Scarlett Johansson, who plays Anna in the film, recently had a low-key wedding with her fiancé Ryan Reynolds. Although her character in the film does not know how to choose her true love and therefore cannot win the man's sincerity, she has a lot to say about her own love: "Feelings are very natural things, don't force too much. I won't have any expectations for my feelings or even marriage because I know it will go in its due direction. I won't try to discover what I've learned from this relationship, just use your heart. I enjoy my current married life: not flashy, not intense, natural, regular."
Compared to the now happy Scarlett, Drew Barrymore's love life seems less smooth and perfect. Despite having gone through two failed marriages, Barrymore still believes in love and strives to gain beautiful love - her six months of single life brought her absolutely no happiness. This 33-year-old female star told Ladies Home Journal in an interview: "I like love with a happy ending, and I firmly believe that most love stories have happy endings. Because such thoughts often make me feel not lonely, and also experience the meaning of life. I think the essence of love also evolves over time. There is no right or wrong in love, only patience, giving, and all possible things." Barrymore, who is full of longing for love, also sparked a new romance with Justin Long, who played Alex in "In fact, you don't understand his heart".
