Synopsis:

Mr. Niu’s eldest son, Niu Zhihua, who is afraid of his wife, instigated by his daughter-in-law Feng Sanyan, has a series of disputes with his younger brother Niu Zhiwen, who just graduated from graduate school, over two properties. As a result, the elder Mr. Niu moves into a nursing home. Although the second daughter Zhang Yuemei was given away by her father when she was young due to the preference for sons over daughters, her straightforward and kind nature makes her have no resentment towards her father but instead think wholeheartedly about Mr. Niu. Mr. Niu suffers a cerebral thrombosis attack due to anger and is hospitalized. Faced with huge medical expenses, the two brothers decide to transfer their father to another hospital. Unexpectedly, during the transfer, Mr. Niu "disappears". The reappeared Mr. Niu reflects deeply after realizing the situation.
