Just on October 31, 2009, Chen Lin, a singer from Chongqing in mainland, committed suicide by jumping off the 9th floor of Building C701 in Guangming Community, Dongba Village, east of the fifth ring road in Beijing. She was only 39 years old. At around 7:00 am on October 31, Chen Lin's body was found. It was described that "Chen Lin wore a mask, had wounds on her neck, was neatly dressed, and her body fell on the grass." The body has now been transported to the Changping forensic identification center, and the true cause of death will be announced within a week.
