At the early hours of February 15th, Beijing time, as all awards were announced, the 59th Berlin Film Festival finally came to an end in a drizzle. The Spain-Peru co-production "The Milk of Sorrow" surprisingly topped the list in Berlin and became the biggest winner of the day. The Uruguay-Germany co-production "Dark Passage" won four awards, including the Silver Bear for Jury Prize, the Best Screenplay Award, the Best First Feature Film Award and the Alfred Bauer Innovation Award. The lead actress of the German film "The Others", Bejit·；Minike Meier, won the Silver Bear for Best Actress. And Sotigu·；Kuyate in "The River in London" won the Silver Bear for Best Actor. The only Chinese参赛film widely praised by foreign media during the film festival, "Mei Lanfang", was eventually not awarded any prize.
