CDLinux is a Linux system that boots from a CD with a very small size. It can be used for system repair/maintenance. CDlinux 0.6.1 supports the latest Linux kernel, the Xfce window manager, and some desktop applications, yet its size is less than 60MB. The plug-and-play support in the previous version of CDlinux was not very satisfactory, but this has been improved in the new version. CDLinux supports a lot of hardware (ether, SCSI, RAID, USB, PCMCIA, etc.) and various network protocols (ftp, ssh, nfs, samba, etc.). Users can customize it by adding or removing software packages as needed. CDlinux is still under continuous development and improvement, and currently provides good support for both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
