The U.S. State Department has launched its own blog, "Diplomatic Notes."

The US State Department on Wednesday joined the growing trend of online blogging with the launch of its own blog, Diplomacy Notes (http://blogs.state.gov), in an effort to provide a more civilian account of the US administration's foreign policy.
