aideRSS provides a service that can be used to display the most recent popular articles on a blog, and the time frame can be the most recent week, month, or even year. Unlike the list of popular posts generated by the Blog itself, it does not use the number of views and comments as a standard, but automatically searches for the number of Google Blog Search/Technorati backlinks, del.icio.us favorites, Digg counts, etc. Based on this data, give each post a score (PostRank), and finally output a list of popular posts on your blog like the one on my sidebar. Such a rating and pageviews, comments out of the evaluation is still very different, personally think aideRSS results are more objective, it is equivalent to a reader-voted ranking.
