Friends who like to play games or photography are familiar with HDR (High Dynamic Range), high dynamic range image (HDRI) or high dynamic range rendering (HDRR) can adjust the brightness of the image to make the image have a higher degree of realism. Now the first video made using HDR technology has come out.
U.s.-based Soviet Montage announced the completion of the first real HDR video shoot. Unlike HDR time-lapse, which is only a few frames per minute, true HDR video can capture multiple exposures of more than 24 frames per second, and shooting only requires an ordinary DSLR camera.
The company can now combine multiple HD video streams into a single video with a color gamut higher than other current HDR time-lapse videos. Now the company is using the technology to create new videos, and the demo video was made by two Canon 5D mark iis.
High dynamic range images, which can produce a higher exposure gamut than normal photos, have become an increasingly popular photography technique, and Apple's iPhone has integrated this feature. However, using HDR technology for video shooting is still too complicated, and Soviet Montage is working on low-cost ways to make true HDR movies and videos.
In the demonstration video, you can see the video effect taken by HDR technology, whether it is a scene or a portrait, it is more clear than the original video.
