Jet-Man: Yves Rossy (a former Swiss Air Force pilot), "the first person to reach sufficient altitude and maintain horizontal flight stability with foldable carbon fiber aerodynamic wings." He accomplished the remarkable feat of being the first human to directly experience "jet-style" flight with his body. The wings that helped him fly were made of materials such as metal, fiberglass, and carbon fiber, equipped with four diesel engine turbines weighing 22 kilograms in total. With their help, Rossy jumped from a height of 7,750 feet and then performed a beautiful flight that "resembled a jet aircraft."
