Responsibilities of the Car Rental Company:
1. Ensure that vehicles are in good condition when rented out, with spare tires, tools and other accessories fully functional, and clearly hand over the vehicle to the lessee.
2. Be responsible for all types of insurance, taxes and management fees related to the vehicles as per relevant regulations.
3. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on leased vehicles.
4. Send leased vehicles to designated repair shops for servicing.
5. Assist lessees in handling traffic accidents and processing claims according to the insurance company's regulations.
Responsibilities of the Car Lessee:
The lessee is not responsible for routine maintenance, annual inspection or insurance of the vehicle during the lease period - these are handled by the car rental company. Any losses incurred due to delays in maintenance or inspections caused by the lessee shall be borne entirely by the lessee.
During the lease period, the lessee must operate and maintain the vehicle according to the 'Vehicle User Manual'. Before driving, a routine check should be conducted on items such as engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, tire pressure and lights. If any issues are found, the vehicle should be promptly sent to the repair shop designated by the leasing company. Otherwise, the lessee will bear the consequences.
During the lease period, the lessee has the obligation to properly store and use the leased vehicle and its associated documents, keeping the body clean until it is returned to the leasing company. In case of loss, the lessee should immediately notify the leasing company and relevant authorities.
