Liu Youjun, Director of Guangdong Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, was placed under "Shuanggui" by relevant departments for being suspected of serious violations of discipline, and was suspended for inspection.

The Guangdong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection released this news in the form of a brief report through the Guangdong Supervision and Discipline Inspection Network. The date of the notice was May 17th. For several years, it has been rare for local commissions for discipline inspection to quickly release information on "Shuanggui" cases through the Internet.

A reporter from "Caixin" learned from relevant channels that this time Liu was put under "Shuanggui", and the case notification format was related to direct instructions from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

After this year's "Two Sessions", Liu Youjun was "concentratedly interviewed" by relevant departments. "Concentrated interview" is a kind of intra-party measure, indicating that the whereabouts of the person being interviewed have attracted the attention of relevant departments. The reason is that after the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection formally investigated the Chen Shaogi series of cases, it found more clues about Liu Youjun's alleged illegal and disciplinary violations, and thus ordered the Guangdong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection to initiate an investigation into him.
