Partner in dance back then: Xue Jinghua was born in 1945 in Shanghai. She was formerly a ballerina with the Central Ballet Troupe, and is currently an instructor with the Hong Kong Ballet Company; project evaluator with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Arts Development Council, judge at the Open Dance Competition; ballet coach at Shenzhen Huaxia Art Centre; and chief ballet coach. Her representative work is the modern ballet "The Red Detachment of Women".
