They sold these counterfeit medicines nationwide. Since February, they had produced more than 2,400 boxes of various counterfeit inferior medicines, totaling 960,000 plates, with a case value of more than 5 million yuan. Where do counterfeit inferior condiments go? It was introduced that the counterfeiting den in Lantian County was located in a village in Hu Xu Town. The factory was originally abandoned workshops in the village, covered with spider webs, filled with sewage, and the processing raw materials, glass bottles, and garbage were piled together, emitting a foul smell. The glass bottles used for filling honey and white vinegar in the den were all recycled from scrap collection stations, simply washed with tap water before being filled. However, the police investigation found that they were all mixed with some raw flavorings, and did not contain any soybeans at all. The beef tallow used to make hot pot base material was very inferior, "containing a large amount of paraffin, as hard as cement, and standing on it would be fine." The police said that the honey made in this den used mostly non-food raw materials, without any original honey, but instead used salt, cellulose heated up, added sand sugar, syrup, caramel color for seasoning and coloring, and then added benzoic acid, citric acid, and other additives for bottling, which could not serve any health-preserving function, and was extremely harmful to the human body. Be careful when buying condiments at roadside shops The police said that these counterfeit inferior products are generally sold in some roadside small shops, some flow into wholesale markets, and even individual supermarkets.
