On the night of October 18th, I found my scar inflammation had swollen up again. I almost fainted. It felt a little painful when touched, just like last time. There's a possibility of recurrence. If I were in Guangzhou, I might have gone to the hospital for an injection immediately. But now I'm not in Guangzhou, so I can only treat myself in an emergency. I immediately applied Triamcinolone ointment and waited to see if it would subside. As a result, it flattened overnight. However, when I tore it off, the scar broke open again. Now, I'm applying Erythromycin ointment and using gauze to seal the wound until it heals. On October 22nd, the same scar became inflamed again with pus. Not being at home really makes everything inconvenient! The Erythromycin ointment bought from the pharmacy seemed to have no effect at all, and they didn't even sell disinfectant gauze—what a terrible place! Now, I can only save myself, avoiding water until I get back home to handle it properly. Praying: Considering my long-term treatment efforts, may Buddha protect me! Such persistence is truly exhausting!
On October 23rd, I bought Band-Aids last night. After applying Erythromycin ointment, I sealed it overnight with Band-Aids. When I tore them off at noon today, the pus stuck to the Band-Aid again. Unfortunately, the wound is still sunken, so I had to press hard with a tissue to remove the basic pus and water. After drying, I reapplied Erythromycin ointment and used new Band-Aids. The surrounding scars are dry and peeling, so I applied Bak to protect them. Right now, I really miss my life-saving drug, "growth factor."
On October 24th, after removing the Band-Aid and changing the medicine, there was no more pus on the wound. After drying with a tissue, I re-applied the Band-Aid. By afternoon, I saw the Band-Aid could be separated. But another scar nearby also broke open. Similarly, I dried the moisture with a tissue and transferred the Band-Aid over. The originally inflamed scar was now dry, but the wound was sunken because there was no growth factor to regenerate. Now, I can only hope to hold out until I return home without further inflammation.
On October 26th, I thought ignoring the scar for two days would be fine, but when I touched it today, there was water. Upon checking, the scar had become inflamed again with pus. I squeezed it out with a tissue until it was completely dry, then reapplied Erythromycin and sealed it with a Band-Aid. I estimate I can keep it dry until I return to Guangzhou.
On October 27th, the scar could be dried again with a tissue, and the wound broke open once more. It seems there's no sign of healing. I stopped using Erythromycin as it feels ineffective. Now, I can only frequently change the Band-Aids and try to keep the wound as dry as possible. One word: wait!
On October 28th, I removed the waterproof tape and found the wound still hadn't healed. Seeing pus stuck to the tape, I continued to use tissues to absorb the moisture and reapply the waterproof tape.
On October 29th, I changed the tape again, continuing yesterday's steps. I can only endure this way until I return to Guangzhou. My train is tonight, and I'll arrive in Guangzhou the day after tomorrow.
