According to reports (by reporter Dapeng Han and intern reporter He Chen), at 7:30 PM the previous evening, nearly a hundred parents brought their children, holding tickets gathered at the Qinglan Theater, wanting to watch a concert. After waiting for a long time, they were told that there was no performance that day, which caused dissatisfaction among the audience.

Mr. Chu, one of the audience members, introduced that not long ago, he purchased two tickets for the "Oriental Century Journey - Century Style Concert" from the Capital Ticketing Network. At 7:30 PM the previous evening, there were still many parents and children waiting outside the theater, but they were informed by the staff that there would be no performance that day. At 8:30 PM, many viewers were still outside the Qinglan Building demanding an explanation. The ticket clearly indicated that the concert's performance time was 7:30 PM on January 26th, and the location was the Qinglan Theater inside the Qinglan Building in Dongcheng District.

The theater staff explained that they had previously received notice that the first performance of the concert was scheduled for February 2nd evening, "as to why it does not match what is on the ticket, we are not clear either." After negotiation, the theater finally agreed to refund the tickets or reschedule them.

Yesterday, reporters repeatedly called the organizer of the concert, China Oriental Performing Arts Group, but were unable to get through. On major and legitimate ticketing websites such as Capital Ticketing Network, Maitian Ticketing, and China Performance Ticketing Network, the webpage for purchasing tickets for this concert was still available, and normal ticket purchases could be made.

A relevant person in charge of the Capital Ticketing Network said that they will verify this matter. If the situation is true, consumers can return the tickets through the website process, or go directly to the theater to return the tickets. Similar incidents have occurred before, usually due to performer issues or too few audience members leading to the cancellation of performances. By last night, some ticketing websites had already removed the concert ticket purchase information.
