Communicator Hongmei Zhu, Reporter Bowei Gong: Currently, the local police have arrived in Hunan to escort Qumu Ripu back to his hometown. According to the detective of the Jinyang County Public Security Bureau in Sichuan, on August 31, 2001, Qumu Ripu who was only 20 years old at that time, learned that his good friend Musuo Eri had won over 1000 yuan gambling that day. That night, he broke into Musuo Eri's house with a knife and killed him. However, since Musuo Eri had hidden the money under the bed, Qumu Ripu didn't find it and fled.

Three days later, on the morning of October 18, another accident happened. This man jumped from the second floor and was sent back to the railway hospital for treatment. The jump caused an explosive fracture of the L2 vertebrae, a fracture of the L1 vertebrae, a fracture of the calcaneus, and a fracture of the right 11th rib. When the staff asked him about the reason for his suicide attempt, the man only said "life is not worth living, the sooner I die, the sooner I am free," and remained evasive about other situations. Tang Weimin, the Director of Safety Supervision of Yueyang Station, insisted on having the hospital perform surgery on him. To prevent further accidents, a dedicated person was assigned to watch him 24 hours a day, and the situation was reported again to the Yueyang Railway Station Police Station.

In our Changsha report, due to greed for money, Sichuan native Qumu Ripu killed his good friend in a fit of rage without even managing to rob any money before fleeing in a panic. After ten years as a fugitive, Qu Mou lamented that life was not worth living. After attempting to lie on the railway tracks at Yueyang and failing to commit suicide, he then attempted to jump from a building but also failed. Facing police questioning, he maintained silence. Starting from minor clues, the Changsha railway police finally uncovered his true identity and brought him to justice. On December 28, the police returned Qu Mou to the Jinyang County Public Security Bureau in his hometown of Sichuan.

On October 15, 2011, at around 1 PM, officers of the Yueyang station police station of the Changsha Railway Public Security Office received a call stating that someone had entered the undercarriage of train number 25013 intending to self-harm as it approached Yueyang station. Upon arrival, the police found a young man lying on the railway tracks and lifted him off. Upon investigation, it was found that the man was ragged, expressionless, and claimed his name was Qu Xiangbo, aged 30, from Sichuan, and did not carry any identification. Given that the man had slight abrasions and appeared mentally unstable, the police immediately sent him to the Yueyang Railway Hospital for observation and examination.

Facing police inquiries, the man refused to reveal his real name. In order to quickly locate his family, the police worked with the station safety supervision office, making hundreds of long-distance calls to various departments in Sichuan, eventually identifying the man as Qumu Ripu. Based on the clue that the surname "Qumu" mostly belongs to the Yi ethnic group in Jinyang County, Sichuan, the police determined his hometown to be Honglian Township, Jinyang County, Sichuan Province. On December 22, before preparing to send Qumu Ripu back to his hometown, the police transmitted his photo to the local police station chief and requested villagers to identify him. Unexpectedly, Qumu Ripu turned out to be a wanted murderer who had fled for ten years!
