Weibo Promotion | Today's Weibo Hot Topics (Editor: SN010) In Zimbabwe, some secret societies believe that using sperm in rituals can bring good fortune. Phiri stated that Zimbabwe is a religious country, and secret societies and gangs are everywhere. Researchers are also unwilling to venture into this area because it is extremely difficult to report on these matters and survive.

People's Daily reported on November 29th according to BBC that evidence recently obtained by the Zimbabwean police indicates that there is a women's organization in Zimbabwe that forcibly assaults men in order to obtain sperm for religious rituals.

A victim who wished to remain anonymous recounted his misfortune on national television regarding an incident in July. At the time, he saw three women trying to hitchhike, so he stopped his car on the side of the road. One of the women splashed water in his face and injected him with an aphrodisiac. These women then parked the car on the side, demanding that he wear a condom and have sexual intercourse with each of them. After achieving their goal, they abandoned him in the bushes by the roadside.

These women denied the charges, claiming that they were sex industry workers and too busy to dispose of condoms properly.

The police's arrest operation against members of this organization began a year ago. Early in November, the police discovered 31 used condoms in the car driven by three women, detaining them in Gweru, 275 kilometers from the capital Harare.

Police spokesperson Andrew Phiri informed reporters that the police suspect that more women in Zimbabwe are part of a secret organization that sexually abuses men. There are also clues indicating that sperm is being sold outside Zimbabwe. The police have received leads and reports from all over the country showing that similar incidents often occur along the roadsides, speculating that it is related to religious rituals.

On November 28th, these three women were interrogated in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. Since Zimbabwean law does not recognize the crime of rape committed by women against men, these three women were ultimately charged with 17 counts of serious indecency.
