International Online Special Report: According to the UK's Daily Mail on January 31, by creating websites and designing personal web pages for social media users, American youth Andrew Fashion earned a staggering $2.5 million (approximately RMB 15.75 million) before the age of 21. However, in less than a year, he squandered all his initial fortune.

After earning this massive amount, Fashion dropped out of high school and began living a luxurious lifestyle. He purchased a luxury mansion in Los Angeles, several top-of-the-line sports cars, indulged in extravagant gambling in Las Vegas, traveled frequently between London, Florida, and Hawaii, and bought all sorts of the latest products. His monthly allowance alone amounted to $100,000 (approximately RMB 6.3 million). Within a short span of one year, he had spent all $2.5 million.

Subsequently, Fashion filed for bankruptcy and fell into depression. He admitted, "I was too young and foolish; the money came too easily, and I spent it like water. So much money just disappeared."

Fashion cleverly marketed a website that once topped Google's search engine rankings. However, after a redesign in 2007, the site lost its favor with Google, leading to an overnight decline in its reputation, a sharp drop in visitors, and almost stagnant income. Yet, Fashion continued living extravagantly.

Now, after experiencing a "rollercoaster" life, Fashion has returned to square one, residing in Littleton, Colorado. He managed to raise funds and redesign a social networking site. He also registered a photography company and is considering writing a book titled *Reckless Youth: How I Earned and Spent $2.5 Million*. Fashion stated that this time, he will not waste the fruits of his labor. (Yang Liu)
