Northeast Network January 12 - Two groups of sewer workers gathered to fight over territory and jobs, even agreeing on a location for a duel. On January 5, the Harbin police arrested five people involved in the case.

Lu and Zhong are a married couple who work in the sewer cleaning business in Harbin. On September 8, 2011, Zhong received a call from someone claiming to be Hu: "Your sewer cleaning advertisement covers ours. We've been working around San Da Dongli Road for more than ten years, and no one has dared to take my business. You'd better leave this area." After hearing this, Zhong refused the request.

At 4 PM on September 16, Zhong received a call from a customer on Liancao Street whose sewer was blocked, asking Zhong to come and clean it. Zhong quickly left with her husband Lu, and when they arrived at the agreed-upon location to wait for the customer, they noticed a group of people approaching. After speaking with them, Lu and Zhong learned that the leader was Hu, who was also there to clean the sewer. Hu told Lu not to steal his business and kicked Zhong a few times during their argument. In the end, both sides decided to duel, agreeing on the intersection of Zhengyi Road and Keyan Road as the location, and the loser would not be allowed to solicit business in the San Da Dongli area again.

Lu then sought out Zhao, who owns a game hall, and they agreed that Zhao would find people to fight, and Lu would give him 10,000 yuan as a reward. Zhao found Jin, who is 19 years old, and asked him to gather more than ten people to go to the duel location. Around 7 PM, when Jin and his group arrived, Hu had already brought more than ten people armed with weapons. The two groups started fighting immediately upon seeing each other, wielding clubs and knives. During the fight, one person from Hu's side was seriously injured, resulting in a ruptured spleen, and someone from Jin's side was also injured.

After the incident, the police conducted external investigations and detailed searches, eventually arresting the main member of the gang, Jin, in Suiling County. On January 8, 2012, the police arrested suspects Zhong, Lu, Xiao Bo, and Xiao Jie. Currently, all five have been criminally detained, and the search for other members is ongoing.
