This is the "Grassland Dining Table Plan" initiated by Lanzhou netizens through Weibo. This event raised a batch of living and learning supplies such as dining tables and chairs for more than 120 boarding students of a primary school in Yushu. Two village cadres cycled 3,000 kilometers to raise money for road construction for their villagers.
On September 14th, netizen "Yixieyizheng" received a call from volunteer Pan Yuqi who has been engaged in volunteer activities in Yushu for a long time. Pan Yuqi said that in the place where he volunteers, there is a school with about 120 boarding students who eat their three meals a day outside the tent. He wanted to help solve the problem of dining tables for the children, so he asked "Yixieyizheng" to inquire about the price of tables and chairs in Lanzhou and planned to raise funds nationwide. A total of 72 netizens and groups from Lanzhou, Jiuquan, Beijing, Nanjing, and other places contributed their love to the "Grassland Dining Table Plan". The "Grassland Dining Table Plan" activity raised 32 dining tables, 128 chairs, 88 cotton coats, 1 water heater, and more than 1,000 workbooks.
It is understood that the love materials of the "Grassland Dining Table Plan" were delivered to Batang Grassland Primary School in Yushu on the morning of October 15th. On October 16th, the children were already eating on the brand new tables and chairs.
