On December 8, XXCB Rolling News reported that have you ever seen a graduation certificate from a university during the Republic of China period? Today (December 8), Mr. Xue, who lives on the west side of Changsha city, informed the reporter that he recently found his father Xue Leng's graduation certificate from Zhongyuan University in the 38th year of the Republic of China while sorting through his father's belongings.
Mr. Xue said that his father was born in 1928 and originally from Bo County, Anhui Province. He passed away this year. In July, he discovered a book titled "Mao Zedong's Five Philosophical Works" while sorting through his father's belongings, and inside it was a yellowed piece of paper which turned out to be a graduation certificate from a university during the Republic of China period.
The reporter saw that the graduation certificate reads: "Student Xue Leng is currently 21 years old, from Bo County, Anhui Province, has completed his studies at the 30th Battalion of the First Division of our school with satisfactory results and is hereby granted graduation." It also bears the seals of the then president and vice president of Zhongyuan University.
