Starting tomorrow, precipitation in southern China will significantly intensify, while northern regions will experience rainy and snowy weather. The Central Meteorological Observatory forecasts that from tonight until March 3rd, the areas south of the Huai River will continue to have overcast and rainy weather. Starting tomorrow, precipitation in southern regions will significantly strengthen. From tonight to tomorrow afternoon, light to moderate rain or showers are expected in eastern Sichuan, southern Shaanxi, southeastern Tibet, northern Yunnan, southern parts of the Yellow River-Huai River region, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and most parts of South China. In particular, heavy rain is forecasted for parts of southeastern Anhui and northwestern Yunnan.
Additionally, over the next three days, northern China will also see precipitation. Tonight to tomorrow afternoon, light to moderate snow or sleet is expected in northwestern Xinjiang and along the Tianshan Mountains, northern and eastern Heilongjiang, northeastern Jilin, central and eastern Northwest China, eastern Tibet, northern parts of the Sichuan Plateau, North China, and most of Shandong Province. Parts of eastern and southern Qinghai and northeastern Tibet may see heavy snow (5-7 mm). At the same time, with the arrival of snow, the maximum temperatures in places like Beijing, Tianjin, and Shijiazhuang will drop by more than 5℃. In mountainous areas of western and northern Beijing, minimum temperatures may even fall to -6℃~-4℃. Snowy weather is beneficial for purifying the air and increasing soil moisture, but precautions should be taken against the adverse effects of accumulated snow or icy roads on transportation.
