Anhui Informatization News reports that on February 17, the Huaining County government announced the investigation and handling of issues reflected in an audio segment involving Mr. Fei Zhimin, Deputy Director of the Public Security Bureau of the Huaining County Development Zone that appeared on the Internet. On February 14, 2012, an audio clip titled "Deputy Director of Huaining Development Zone Public Security Bureau in Anhui Province, Fei Zhimin, openly asks for dry shares, threatens murder, and curses the discipline inspection committee" appeared on the Internet. The leading figures of the Huaining County Party Committee and County Government paid high attention to this matter and ordered relevant departments to verify the authenticity of this audio segment. Upon investigation, it was found that Mr. Fei Zhimin had a legal dispute with Mr. Yan due to housing construction issues. According to Mr. Fei Zhimin's recollection, the audio segment on the Internet was likely a compilation of recordings from arguments he had with Mr. Yan's lawyer around February 2010. On February 17, 2012, the Standing Committee of the Huaining County Party Committee decided to dismiss Mr. Fei Zhimin from his position as deputy director of the Development Zone Public Security Bureau. Regarding Mr. Fei Zhimin's disciplinary violations of participating in real estate development against regulations, the county discipline inspection committee had already initiated an investigation in September 2011 and issued a severe warning within the party in November. Currently, the county court is reviewing the housing construction dispute case between Mr. Fei Zhimin and Mr. Yan.
