China's vision lands in the UK, a new Chinese concept. The world's first "Chinese Theme Park" will be located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, in the north of England. The theme park is named "China Vision" (Visions of China), with an estimated cost of up to 1 billion pounds (approximately 10 billion yuan), covering an area of 120 acres (about 480,000 square meters). Inside, it will feature roller coasters, an artificial lake, Chinatown, pagodas, temples, children's amusement areas, theaters and other tourist facilities and attractions. Given the high expectations of Rotherham City Council for this project to revitalize the local economy, it is anticipated that "China Vision" will take only 18 months from the start of construction to welcoming its first visitors!
