The Chinese Golden Buddha Pagoda is modeled after the Qianlong Golden Inlaid Precious Stone Pagoda, one of the treasures of the Palace Museum. The Chinese Golden Buddha Pagoda adopts the shape of the revered Tibetan-style pagoda, known as the Pagoda of Supremacy among the eight pagodas of the Buddha. It was crafted using royal techniques passed down for a thousand years, with immense effort, resources, and finance invested into its creation by dozens of experts including Master Wang Shuwen, a renowned Chinese master of arts and crafts, over a period of a thousand days. This pagoda's prototype was also once used to enshrine the tooth relic of the Buddha. Only three of these pagodas exist: one made of pure copper gilded, another of pure silver gilded, and the last of pure gold. Each is inlaid with more than 3000 large precious stones of various kinds, with copper carvings. The entire pagoda utilizes a variety of intricate techniques such as chiseling, repoussé, and inlaying, with the gemstones enhancing its noble and splendid appearance. It stands as the largest golden Buddha pagoda in Buddhist history. To learn more, please visit: http://www.kycb.net
